Treat the family to a world of fun and adventure at the Easter Egg Hunt trail at historic Cliveden. Running throughout the Easter Holidays, families can make their way along the trail while taking part in nature-themed activities and collecting chocolate eggs along the way.
The interesting trail winds its way through the beautiful gardens at Cliveden that overlook the River Thames and include some amazing woodland and riverbank walks. The price is £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears, and dairy or vegan chocolate egg. The Changing of the Guard is one of the main attractions of any visit to Windsor, and Easter is a great opportunity to witness this historic ceremony with the whole family. Whether you want to watch the procession from the stunning surroundings of Windsor Castle or join the crowds as the famous 1st Battalion Welsh Guards with their bearskin hats and red tunics march up Windsor High Street, you won’t be disappointed.
Performed by soldiers on active duty from the Foot Guards who have guarded the Sovereign and Royal Palaces since 1660, the ceremony is steeped in history and attracts spectators from all over the world. Changing of the Guard, which also takes place at Buckingham Palace, will be accompanied by music provided by the Band of Coldstream Guards, adding further excitement to this colourful military tradition. Windsor is only five miles from Maidenhead and easily reached by road and public transport.

Perfect for children up to the age of 8 years old, there’s a wide variety of activities in store at Wellington Country Park’s Easter Eggstravaganza. There’s so much to do that you’re bound to find something to keep the little ones occupied and entertained.
