There's
plenty of different things for visitors of all ages and
sizes
There's
plenty of parking also, but if visiting for the fireworks
displays don't park close to the entrance as it takes ages
to leave in the queues of cars -- leave your car as close to
the exit as possible and leave quickly
If you're going to visit several times in a
year the annual pass will save you money and stop you having
to queue up
The park occupies side of the hill starting
at the top and working down
which means that your return journey is an
uphill walk, or you can use the Hill train for your small
children
As
with any theme park, food is plentifully available but
you'll save money by taking your own packed lunches
Drinking
water fountains are spread throughout
Check the map at the top of the park for show
times to choose your favourites
Don't
bother wasting time queuing at the Hill train at the top,
just walk straight down into the park to target the main
attractions which will build up long waiting queues
Don't
bother wasting time queuing for the rides at the top of the
park, while the rest of the visitors are picking the best
rides below
The
Harbour show has gone through several evolutions over time
but is well worth seeing
